I studied at one of the most competitive and established schools for illustration, The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. There I received my BFA in Illustration, as well as several noted awards including the Roger T. Hane Award and an honorable mention for my contribution to the William H. Ely senior thesis exhibit. I designed books at noted publishing house, Farrar Straus Giroux, where I my jacket illustration for Claudette Colvin: Twice Toward Justice was selected for the National Book Award. I'm currently working full time as a graphic artist, and have experience with product development and art direction, web-based and for-print promotional design, packaging design, and in-house illustration.
I'm an active member of The Autumn Society of Philadelphia, and am so looking forward to many great shows with the society this year. Stay tuned to my blog,Facebook,or Twitter for information about upcoming gallery events.
I am always looking to challenge myself and rethink my approach, broaden my portfolio, and bring in new clients. If you think my work might suit your project, please don't hesitate to give me a call.
